Lucic vs Komisarek
Milan Lucic and Mike Komisarek’s rivalry started in 2008 with Komisarek delivering a few low hip checks on Lucic in Bruins-Canadiens games and Komisarek wouldn’t answer the challenge. They would eventually fight for the first time in November 2008 and Lucic dominated it. Later that season Komisarek would cheapshot Lucic but they weren’t able to fight then. Later in the playoffs that season Lucic dropped Komisarek with one punch. Komisarek would move onto Toronto after that season. They wouldn’t renew their rivalry until three seasons later and Lucic would again dominate a fight between them.
Round 1 – November 13, 2008
Lucic dominated Komisarek in this fight landing some big punches. Komisarek would hurt his hand and shoulder in this fight.
Mike Komisarek hits Milan Lucic from behind, Lucic jumps Komisarek – April 9, 2009
Komisarek would deliver a cheapshot to Lucic, hitting him from behind. Lucic and teammate Shawn Thornton went after Komisarek but weren’t able to fight him.
Round 2 – April 22, 2009
Komisarek challenged Lucic in front of the Montreal net and away they went. Lucic landed the first punch and Komisarek went down from it.
Round 3 – March 19, 2012
Komisarek shoved Lucic after an offside call, Lucic went back at him and they exchanged a few more shoves and gloved punches before dropping the gloves. Lucic would again dominate a fight between them with some vicious uppercuts.
