Here’s the sixth and last part of our series where we’re looking at the teams in each division in the NHL and seeing who will be the team’s enforcer. In this post we’ll take a look at the teams in the Pacific division.

The first team we’ll look at are the Anaheim Ducks. The Ducks will have George Parros and his stash protecting his teammates once this season. The Ducks also have Troy Bodie and Aaron Voros who are known to drop the gloves. Voros should maybe think about lowering the times he does drop the gloves as last season was not a good year for him in terms of fighting. Parros had 20 fights in 57 games last season. Bodie had 8 fights in 44 games last season. Voros, with the New York Rangers last season, had 13 fights in 41 games last season.

The next team Dallas Stars and there enforcer will be Krys Barch, who has been their enforcer for a while now. Barch played 63 games last season and had 20 fights. Barch and St. Louis Blues’ Cam Janssen set up a date with each other via Twitter, you don’t want to miss that first Stars-Blues game. But it seems Barch is no longer on Twitter and their tweets to each other are gone. Aawww another loss in the hockey Twitter world. I blame Bettman! If you really want to see their tweets to each other, I think PuckDaddy has them on his blog somewhere. Luckily Cam Janssen is still on Twitter.

Up next are the Los Angeles Kings and their enforcer may be Kevin Westgarth, that’s if he can make the team. Tough guy Raitis Ivanans left for the Calgary Flames via free agency. Last season Westgarth played in the AHL, 76 games with the Manchester Monarchs and had 18 fights.

Next up are the Phoenix Coyotes and their enforcer will be Paul Bissonnette again this season. Bissonnette is one of the more popular NHL players on Twitter. Last season he played in 41 games and had 19 fights.

The last team to look at are the San Jose Sharks. It was a surprise to see the Sharks trade away Jody Shelley last season. Their enforcer for the upcoming season will probably be Frazer McLaren. McLaren had 8 fights and played 23 games last season for the Sharks. Players like Jason Demers, Jay Leach, and Jamie McGinn are all tough to play against and will drop the gloves when necessary.

And this concludes our six part series of looking at each team in their division and who may be their enforcers for the upcoming 2010-11 season. The NHL season will soon be starting and we’re excited as we know you all are as well. Throughout the season we’ll talk hockey, post about fights and incidents that happen during the season.
